Hairucation AB was founded in 2013, but it wasn’t until 2019 that the business truly took off. We are a family-owned company where Camilla Rörstrand and her daughter Olivia Rörstrand work full time. Camilla’s son-in-law Mathias and son Simon are also part of the team, stepping in where needed.
Since 2020, we have been the exclusive distributor of Y.S.PARK Professional in Sweden – a Japanese premium brand renowned for its high-quality hairdressing tools.
We are also the exclusive distributor of FASTFOILS across the Nordic region, including Iceland – an innovative solution that is revolutionizing the use of foils in hair coloring.
With our head office and warehouse in Karlskrona, we supply professional tools and accessories to hairdressers all over Sweden.
We have our own education studio in Karlskrona, where we bring hairdressers together for inspiring courses, workshops, and after work events. Our vision is to create a meeting place for the industry – a bit like a community hub for hairdressers – where knowledge, connection, and creativity can thrive.
Camilla Rörstrand
Camilla Rörstrand has over 35 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. As an active stylist, she became a regional champion and ran her own salon for 14 years before training as a hairdressing teacher, where she spent 10 years in education – including three years running her own vocational school for adults.
She has worked as head technician and education manager at several Swedish companies, training both hairdressers and leaders across the Nordics and Europe. Her greatest passion is color, and she has extensive experience in product development within hair color, including work for two of Sweden’s largest manufacturers.
In 2020, she launched the textbook Become a Better Colorist, which is now available in five languages. She also runs a blog of the same name, where she shares knowledge and inspiration with hairdressers worldwide.
As the founder of Frisörkonsulterna, Camilla aims to drive change in the industry – with more knowledge, inspiration, and confidence for the future. Today, she runs several companies together with her daughter Olivia – in both Sweden and the USA – focusing on education, product development, and raising the standards of the hairdressing industry.
Olivia Rörstrand
Olivia Rörstrand is a trained hairdresser with a passion for service and high quality. She has worked in several salons over the years, competed in the Swedish national hairdressing team, and represented Sweden at the World Championships. Throughout her career, she has also worked as a color technician, participated in shows, and contributed to photoshoots.
She founded and ran her own salon for five years with employees, gaining valuable experience in both leadership and entrepreneurship.
Today, Olivia is the driving force behind the scenes of the family businesses. She is responsible for structure, administration, and planning, making sure Camilla’s ideas and visions are turned into reality.
With her background as a hairdresser, she deeply understands the industry and the importance of working with the right, high-quality tools. That is why she is passionate about bringing brands like Y.S.PARK and FASTFOILS to hairdressers across the Nordics.
